Visiting this site

You don’t need to give me any personal information to read this website. Like most websites, the server keeps standard visit logs: your IP address, browser type, operating system, the page that referred you, and the pages you viewed. I may look at this information now and then to see how the site is used and to improve it. I don’t sell it or share it with anyone.

This site doesn’t use advertising, tracking cookies, or analytics tools, and I don’t track you after you leave.

Newsletter and free books

If you choose to, you can give me your email address to join my newsletter or to download a free book. Free books are delivered through BookFunnel, and my newsletter is sent through MailerLite. Your email address goes to those services so they can deliver the book and send my emails. I don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires me to.

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and you can use it at any time. If you’d like me to delete your information completely, email me at lucy@lucymerrowauthor.com and I’ll take care of it.

Other websites

This site links to other websites, such as BookFunnel, MailerLite, and online bookstores. I’m not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies when you visit them.

Children

This site is meant for adults. I don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and I ask that minors not submit any. If you believe a minor has given me their information, email me and I’ll delete it.

Security

I take reasonable precautions to protect your information from loss, misuse, or alteration.

Changes

If I change this policy, I’ll post the new version here with a new “last updated” date.
